A yearly budget of one million dollars is allotted by the Department for new publications and newspapers, database updates and teaching materials held at NCCU’s main and affiliated libraries. The majority of these cover the broad area of the humanities and social sciences. For collection details, see the following table.
2. Departmental Library
The departmental library is notable for its Russian and Slavic collections, which comprise approximately 4,400 volumes. It also houses a wide variety of periodicals and multimedia resources that cover Slavic languages, literatures and cultures.
