The Undergraduate Program aims to cultivate professionals proficient in Russian and other Slavic languages, with a robust foundation in the humanities. It emphasizes the development of independent thinking and effective expression, encourages diverse personal and academic growth, and fosters international academic exchanges. The curriculum provides a balanced approach to language training and practical skills. In addition to establishing a solid foundation in Russian language proficiency, the program imparts comprehensive knowledge of the humanities, history, philosophy, and introduction to Russian and other Slavic countries, thereby addressing the diverse needs of the nation and producing professional expertise in Russian and other Slavic languages for various specialized fields. The curriculum is designed progressively: courses in the first and second years focus on establishing a broad and solid foundation of professional knowledge, while those in the third and fourth years emphasize advancing language proficiency and providing specialized theoretical and practical training.
The M.A. Program aims to develop students' research capabilities in "Russian literature," "Russian linguistics," and "Russian culture." Beyond advancing students' proficiency in the Russian language and establishing a foundation for independent research, the program also equips professionals with specialized knowledge of the Russian language and culture for various societal needs.
